A.P. Literature & Composition
One chapter of my life
Greetings, I am Benjamin Hatch. Writing about myself is a perpetual struggle. Do they care about this? Should I include that? Well, here is a generic spiel of what truly defines me:
Each day I infuse passion into what I am doing at that moment, whether it be writing, running, traveling, or studying. Experiencing cultures rejuvenates my soul - in a sense. From exotic foliage and foreign cuisine, to third-world poverty, traveling opens the blind eye and occupies a special place in my heart. My philosophy: Earth is enormous, so why limit myself to bland Battle Creek? Amongst my wide array of hobbies is also writing. If you give me a pen and paper, I'll be content. Having the ability to conceal one 'self beneath a façade, and experimenting with identity is so intriguing. You can be anyone you wish to while writing. Prior to attending AP Literature, I focused on creative pieces; however, I am currently inheriting the skills of an analytical student. The larger part of my routine revolves around education. As a high school student, I am establishing a foundation in which I can attend law school, and one-day thrive. Running is also a crucial part of my life. The moment I step-foot on the upcoming course, and my body releases endorphins, the atmosphere changes. On stressful days, I crave that sense of isolation, and adrenaline-fueled rush. Each day is a blessing, and I strongly stress that God never presents you with an obstacle you cannot overcome. Whenever I reach a complication, I always remember that everything happens for a reason. I may never know the purpose, but there is one.
